How to reach
Train is by far the best option. Due to works in progress in the area the traffic is jammed and some buses do not reach Viale Morgagni anymore.
BY TRAIN
Take a train to Firenze Rifredi (5 min. from Firenze SMN, the main train station, 12 min. from Firenze CDM). Bus tickets can be used on local trains in the city area. All tickets must be validated on the platform before entering the train. This is the schedule from/to the two train stations in Florence:
There is a taxi stand in front of the of the station. Otherwise you can walk to the Centro Didattico Morgagni (1km, about 15 minutes):
Follow Via dello Steccuto until you reach the traffic lights, then turn right and follow Via Reginaldo Giuliani.
Turn left when you reach a gas station and follow Via S. Stefano in Pane until you reach the second traffic lights.
Turn left (cross the street first) in Viale Morgagni the conference venue will be on the right.
BY BUS
From center city: take bus n. 14 (14B TOLENTINO, 14C - Careggi are both fine). There is a bus stop in Viale Morgagni (Morgagni 07) right in front of the Centro Didattico.
From the area of Campo di Marte: take bus n. 8 to Piazza Dalmazia. Then walk for about 5 minutes in Viale Morgagni.
