The conference "Differential geometry in the large" will take place July 11 to 15, 2016 in Florence, Italy.

Several major themes have been selected for the conference, including:

- Manifolds with lower curvature bounds, including sectional and Ricci curvature;
- Geometric flows, including Ricci flow and mean curvature flow;
- Special geometries, including Einstein metrics, soliton metrics and metrics with special holonomy
