ASYMPTOTIC ANALYSIS IN EXTENDED KINETIC THEORY

 

Linear Boltzmann equation describing such phenomena for the distribution function of particles has the following form

S is the streaming operator, and are, respectively, inelastic and elastic scattering operators.

 

These papers are devoted to the study of the hydrodynamic limits with different scalings between elastic and inelastic scattering.
