The mini-workshop will be held at Facoltà di Ingegneria, Via S. Marta 3, Firenze, Room 207 (first floor).

In the room there are two large blackboards, moreover a beamer and an overhead projector for transparencies are available.

How to reach Facoltà di Ingegneria...

...by car:

Reach the "Firenze Nord" exit of motorway A1

Leave the motorway and follow the directions to the Careggi hospital. Alternatively follow those to Viale Morgagni (it is the road to the hospital). When you reach the end of Viale Morgagni, turn right to via T.Alderotti. At the end of via Alderotti you will find a forking: turn left and, after about 300m you will be in piazza G.Leopoldo. Drive around it for about 3/4 of its perimeter and turn right to via Fabroni; at the first junction turn left and drive till you reach a traffic light. Drive through the crossing and uphill (along via Massaia) till the very end of via Massaia (it ends in a "T" junction with via S. Marta). You will be in front of the gate of the faculty.

If you leave motorway A1 in Signa, Certosa or Firenze Sud:

Follow the directions to Town Centre till you reach "viali di circonvallazione", then follow those to "Fortezza da Basso". Once there, follow the directions to the Careggi hospital. The road to that hospital is called via dello Statuto (it is a 4 lanes road with a line of trees in the middle). After about 1km you will find "Piazza G.Leopoldo" turn right to via Fabroni; at the first junction turn left and drive till you reach a traffic light. Drive through the crossing and uphill (along via Massaia) till the very end of via Massaia (it ends in a "T" junction with via S. Marta). You will be in front of the gate of the faculty.

...by airplane

Amerigo Vespucci airport (Peretola area):

Bus n° 23c will bring you to Piazza S.M.Novella (where the central station is). Once you are there, take the bus n° 4 and get off at the first stop of via Massaia. The faculty gate (a large iron one) is only 10m away across a "T" junction with Via S. Marta. The journey lasts about 40 minutes.
Alternatively you may want to take a Taxi, it is much faster because it does not need to go through the Town Centre. In this case remember that the address is via S. Marta n° 3 zona "Poggetto")

...by train

Central Station Santa Maria Novella:

Get out of the station and take the bus n° 4. Get off at the first stop of via Massaia. The faculty gate (a large iron one) is only 10m away across a "T" junction with Via S. Marta. The journey lasts about 20 minutes.

Other Stations:

Take any bus that goes to S.M.Novella (the central station). From there, follow the directions as above.
In case you arrive at the Rifredi Station we suggest that you take a taxi since the faculty is relatively near (about 10 minutes).

...by bus

Take any bus that goes to S.M.Novella (the central station), then change the bus to n° 4 (its terminal is in Piazza dell'Unita' but it stops also near the station). Get off at the first stop of via Massaia. The faculty gate (a large iron one) is only 10m away across a "T" junction with Via S. Marta.
