How to reach the conference's location...

...by car:

The "Plesso Didattico" is in the city centre

The area is off-limits for private cars (not belonging to residents). We suggest you leave your car in "viali di circonvallazione". Parking is usually not free in Florence. The closest toll parking lot is in piazza Isidoro del Lungo.

...by airplane

Amerigo Vespucci airport (Peretola area):

There is a shuttle bus that will bring you to Piazza S.M.Novella (where the central station is). Once you are there, follow the instructions below.

...by train

By bus from the station:


The "Plesso" can also be reached by bus (ATAF line 6). We suggest, if you choose this option, to visit the related Unifi website Tickets can be purchased at newsstands of the station, from the drivers or via SMS to the number 4880105 typing ATAF. Times and lines are displayed at the ATAF website, also in real time. Take the bus line 6 (from the main (SMN) station which in the directionof Coverciano). These buses run every 5-10 min. The correct bus stop is "Santissima Annunziata / Institute of the Innocents", from here, Via Gino Capponi 9 is a 5 min walk.

On foot:

There are various routes suggested by Google Maps for walking to the "Plesso Didattico Capponi" from the central (SMN) station. We recommend the most scenic route that runs along the whole of the Duomo (Baptistry, Basilica and Campanile di Giotto), and subsequently, from Via dei Servi, Piazza Santissima Annunziata with the Ospedale degli Innocenti.
